Lidar Analysis Areas

The topography of some areas of the village have been examined using Lidar data available from Defra and the Environment Agency. Lidar data is obtained from aerial scans of the terrain using laser technology. This provides accurate height above sea level data (AOD) and is useful in understanding how water levels and flow may be affected in flood conditions.
